The Rother Valley

The Rother Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated in the South of England mostly within the north western part of West Sussex. It lies between the South Downs and the Surrey border, with Petworth and Midhurst being the main centres of population.
The Valley is only about 40 miles from London, with rail links closeby at Petersfield, Haslemere and Pulborough. Southwards at about 12 miles from Midhurst lies the cathedral city of Chichester and a short drive on to the coast with good road links to Portsmouth, Brighton and the other South Coast towns.
