Lodsworth is a small village in West Sussex situated between Midhurst and Petworth, close to the A272. It lies just to the north of the River Rother, and a small tributary, the 'Lod' runs close to the east end of Lodsworth village. The Parish includes the hamlet of Lickfold and part of Selham.

The Hollist Arms Landlord - John Tribe. The Titanic sank on the night of 14 April 1912, during her maiden voyage. One of those on board was Mr William Morley, 34, a carpenter from Lods Bridge. He boarded the Titanic at Southampton. He died in the sinking.
