The White Horse Pub, Easebourne
photo:- Patricia Steel 28 May, 2009 The white horse has been in use on Public Houses and Inns signage since the 15th century and remains very frequent because of its widespread heraldic usage. It was adopted by the kings of Wessex and is the traditional emblem of Kent. The Black Horse is also widely used, but less frequently than white.
