Tillington village is in West Sussex on the Petworth Midhurst section of the A272, one mile to the west of Petworth. The Parish includes the hamlets of Upperton & River with a total combined population of approx. 560.
Tillington is home to All Hallows Church with its unusual Scots crown spire which has been painted by both Constable & Turner. Here also is the Horse Guards Inn, named after the cavalrymen who would stop here when travelling between London and Portsmouth with the Fleets gold.
