Easebourne title

Easebourne is a half mile north of Midhurst. It is a village and civil parish in the Chichester District of West Sussex, England. The River Rother separates Easebourne from Midhurst.
Easebourne parish church of St Mary is at least 13th century in its origin and stands alongside a fine old priory. Amongst other things there is a pub, a general stores, a filling station with shop and 2 schools. Cowdray Park is to the east of Easebourne, there is a golf course, and it is home to Cowdray Polo club.
Cowdray house and ruins is also in Easebourne parish, not, as often presumed, in Midhurst.
Part of the hamlet of South Ambersham is also within Easebourne parish. The A286 & A272 pass through the village. Easebourne is pronounced as " ezborn "
