Police Press Release
24 February 2013
ref- PR42903 /2013
Tuesday 16 July, 11am

This is part of the haul of up to £180,000 of cannabis that was seized by police during a raid on a home in Crawley.
Officers recovered sealed bags of the drug when they executed a search warrant at the property in Martyrs Avenue, Langley Green.
The operation was carried out after the neighbourhood policing team gathered intelligence that drug-dealing could be linked to the address.
More than 18kg of drugs were seized along with a computer and two mobile phones. Samples of the drugs will be tested to confirm how strong they are and their value.
A 26-year-old man from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. He was questioned before being released on bail until 15 November while officers carry out further inquiries.
Anyone with information about drug-dealing in their community should call 101
or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
