Designer jewellery stolen from Midhurst property
Police Press Release
Reference: PR38782-2012

03 April 2012

MIDHURST
THEFT

Police are appealing for information to help locate several items of expensive jewellery along with a designer handbag and a laptop that were stolen from a property in Midhurst during February 2012.

Detective Constable Jon Tizzard from West Sussex CID said- "The owners have only just realised that jewellery was also taken during the burglary. They are understandably very upset about the theft as many of the items of jewellery were not only of significant monetary value but also of high sentimental value too."

Entry was gained to the property in The Fairway, Midhurst via a smashed window at the back of the house.

The stolen items include a blue leather Gucci bag, a gold tie clip with five sapphires set in it with the word 'UPJOHN' written on it, an old looking silver snuff box, 2 pairs of silver Tiffany earrings, a silver ladies ring with white sapphires, a pair of gold and opal ladies earrings, a gents gold plate watch, a silver Tiffany money clip and various other items of costume jewellery.

If you have been offered any of these items for sale or have information about the burglary please call 101 quoting serial 0410 of 03/03 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
