Yellow doors....May 2006
A small insert was recently brought to our attention in a comments page on Midhurst, in which a 70 plus man who had emigrated from here with his family as a small boy to Ontario, and has never had the means or opportunity to return, states that all he can remember vividly of the 'old country' was the 'yellow doors and windows'. {Cowdray houses of course} He then says "how he longed for a photo of the same".....just that!..Just a photo of a door would make him happy..!?
He now has his photo - well, around 30 thumbnails were sent to him so that he could choose whatever, he chose all, hes got all, plus a local history group is assisting him and lots of other bits happening including the very good chance that a lady in that group actually knew him as a child and recalls him!!

Sept.2008 - re above
Trevor Barnes visited the area, with his son, after being away 67 years, aiming to return again Summer 2010.
He returned Autumn 2012
