Operation Columbia
Motorcyclist killed in Petworth collision
 
A motorcyclist has been killed and a driver seriously injured following a crash on the A285, Petworth, at the junction of Haslingbourne Lane at around 4.45pm on Saturday 10 March.
The 41-year-old biker from Liss, Hampshire, was riding a red Yamaha R1 when he collided with a blue Volvo S60. Sadly emergency services were unable to save the man's life and he died at the scene.
The 37-year-old man from Bognor Regis driving the Volvo was taken to St Richard's hospital, Chichester, with serious injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Columbia.

The biker killed on Saturday has been named to day as 41-year old Justin Mackey, of Forest Road, Liss, Hants
Mr Mackey was riding a red Yamaha R1 when he collided with a blue Volvo S60. Sadly emergency services were unable to save the man's life and he died at the scene.
The 37-year-old man from Bognor Regis driving the Volvo was taken to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, with serious injuries, but was discharged on Monday 12 March
