Missing man, Terry West found in River Rother

The body of a man from South Harting that was reported missing on Monday 31 Oct. has been found by Police in the River Rother at Midhurst.
He has been named as Terry West. The 73-year-old had driven a friend to Midhurst Medical Centre on Dodsley Lane, Easebourne and remained in the car. On his friends return Mr West was not to be found and was reported missing after he failed to return. Police were alerted and a helicopter was brought in to assist ground units in searching for him. His body was recovered by divers. Police and the Coroners office are now working to establish the circumstances leading to his death.
