The BUILDING NEWS, 7 June 1878

The drawings shown were illustrated in the Building News, June 1878 simply entitled Cottages, Midhurst.
These cottages are on the corner of St. Annes Hill and Edinburgh Square.

They were probably proposed plans as the finished buildings show differences in roof construction & dimensions.

A drinking fountain or spring is shown on corner and, although not now in use, is still present in 2008.
