Part of EMails from Diana Watt
Sent: Wed, 18 November, 2009
Subject: Your web site and entry 'Edger Reginald Pratt'
I hope you don't mind me writing to you but I was recently supplied with your web site address by a friend in America. He used to live in Midhurst and we still keep in contact after many many years.
Anyway the purpose of my writing to you is that I noted my Great Uncle listed on your web site. I have learned a lot about him from this and I am very grateful.
Can I point out though that his name is incorrect. He is not Edger Reginald Pratt as listed but Egbert Reginald Pratt. There was an Edger Pratt and he was the younger brother.
further EMail
Yes, this is my Great Uncle that I am referring to. I don't mind you using my e-mail because as you say if might help someone else in the future. Edgar Pratt was a younger brother of Egbert Reginald and I would assume that he was too young to enlist.
Reg and my Grandfather [Eber Moses] were the only two who fought in WWI.
