Sussex Police have released CCTV footage of a suspect who attempted
to rob a Barnham convenience store.

At 6.30pm on Saturday 1 December 2012 the suspect, described as a teenage youth, about 5'6" tall,
with black hair and of slim build, walked into the Barnham Superfayre store in Lake Lane, Barnham,
produced what appeared to be a handgun, and demanded money. However when the sole member
of staff simply refused and started to phone the police, he ran off empty-handed and got into a silver
coloured Mercedes saloon waiting nearby, which sped off.

If you can help please call Police via 101 quoting serial 1317 of 1/12.
You can also contact independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
