Hastings Pier

Opened 1872
on the first British Bank Holiday,
On 15 July 1917 a fire destroyed the Pier Head pavilion following a performance for the Canadian troops which were in Hastings during WW1.
It was rebuilt in 1922
5 October 2010 the pier was destroyed by fire.
