Opened April 1862
1889 Pavilion and Landing Stage built
1913 destroyed in storm
re-opens 29 May 1914
1926 North Pavilion completed
1933 South Pavilion destroyed by fire
1935 New South Pavilion opened
1937 Central Pavilion & centre screen erected
1940 Section blown up, anti invasion measure
1949 Pier reopened
1959 Denton Lounge added, North Pavilion.
