West Lavington
Costers Mill
c.1905
postcard - dated July 1907
Closed down at the end of the 19th century, the waterwheel, made at the local Chorley Iron Works, was removed and re-fitted at Lurgashall Mill. When that mill was dismantled and re erected at the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, the wheel started working in its third location and is still operational today.[2007]
