In 1993 the following was printed on the rear of a similar post card - note 1993.
Foliage to left has been replaced by Arun Prospect and Riverside Court flats but the house remains, now the Merry Muncher.
Beyond, the Railway Hotel is now the Water's Edge Pub [now demolished for housing].
The bridge was built around 1857-59 for the LBSCR Mid Sussex line from Three Bridges to Petworth.
The house shown centre was owned by Mr Burchell for many years until his death in 1935 see HERE.
