Compliments of WR Gates and staff - Tramocar & staff, Worthing, Sussex, - c.1924-27 - Ref- 509 - click image to return Mr WR Gates introduced the service in 1924 with two buses operating a Waterfront Service. When taken over by Southdowns in 1938 they had 15 vehicles running various routes.
