Selsey Hall and High Street, Selsey, Sussex - ref- 221, c. pre 1914.
Built 1913, when also Chichester magistrates granted it a cinematographic licence. It operated as a cinema through both world wars.
In the 1950s Jack Tupper ran the cinema, with 3 different films every week in the summer.
As attendances fell it was finally closed Saturday, 19 September 1974, the final film was Disneys 'Summer Magic'. It was then used as a warehouse.
