Terwick Church, Rogate, Sussex, - c.1854 - Ref- 389 - click image below to return Sketch 1854 made almost certainly for John Jervis Carnegie, Fair Oak Lodge. His only child died that year, a thirteen year old daughter, and was buried in the tomb in the centre background. Of particular note is the old door with its wonderful hinges. Unfortunately a porch was built in 1910, and the door plus hinges replaced by something very unremarkable. Text- Mairi Renee, Rogate Heritage Centre
