The Four Chesnuts, always spelt with one of the t's missing, is a traditional community pub located a 5 minute walk from the centre of historic Chichester.
Once the home of Edward Habin, a harness maker and horse dealer, this beautiful and traditional building has been a public house since around 1860.
Following Mr Habins trade, the pub was originally called 'The Four Chesnut Horses' and it is said that the first inn sign was purchased by a regular patron.
