eMail 3 June 2016 from Julia Shepherd   I have been looking through the photos of Chichester and found one of an unknown street looking towards the cathedral.   I am able to tell you that the street is Tower Street where my grandmother lived and I visited during the 1950s.   Recently I sent an amateur painting of that photo to my cousin but scanned it prior to posting. The back of the painting was marked 'Tower Street around 1920'   Painted by Bertram Hooker in the 1970s. He lived in Chichester and worked at Shippams.   I have attached a copy of his painting and hope this information helps you to complete your Vintage Trail.
