Wartime Newhaven Harbour, Sussex - 1943 - Ref- 817 - click image to return Note- Barrage balloons, 3 pillboxes on cliff top & tank traps coming off West Beach. On East beach at top of image is the Seaplane station near the old Tide Mills, note also the gap on the Eastern breakwater. It is difficult to make out if there is actually a beached submarine here.
