Alfriston, Sussex, image c.1903-08   postcard contributed :- Peter Whitcomb Posted from Alfriston, by AL Piper, 2 August 1908   Sent to HW Piper Esq., Woodstock, [5] Hollycroft Avenue, Hampstead, London NW   ref- w816bc   ....we arrived safely but a little late...please send strap [as soon as possible] ... which hangs at the end of the bedstead in our room. you can double it .....This little bridge leads to the next village to where we are staying...will send A a card....we have had a lovely walk this evening in the cool...   see here for 6 August message   click here to return to previous page
