Death and Funeral of Dr. Robinson
We regret to announce the death of Dr Robinson which occured Thursday at his residence North Street, after a long and weary illness. The deceased was in practice in the town for many years and held many appointments including Medical Officer of the Union and the Foresters and Odd Fellows Societies. The deceased retired from active life about eight years ago and very soon after fell a victim to paralysis. The remains of the late doctor were interred in the Old cemetery on Monday. The vicar, the Rev. SM Campbell and the Rev. HE Wake, curate, officiated.
The following in addition to the relatives attended, Mrs Gulvin, Dr Holman, Mr.WT Johnson, Mr RC Fisher, Mr. J Lucas, Mr.WH Lovelock, Mr.WW Lewis, Mr.CJ Gosden, Mr.H Clark, Mr.WH Packman, Mr.G Woods, Mr. Bromhall, Mr.J Othen, Mr.A Fish, Mr.J Challen, and Mr.H Wells. A large number of beautiful wreaths were sent by personal friends.
