Left side area as shown above after WW2 bombing raid
The wheelbarrows to the right of the bicycles mark the spot of todays police station. The rubble in the right foreground is now Midhurst service station. The white block of houses in the background was known as The White City. Budgens supermarket now stands here.

Slightly behind photographer on right is now entrance to the Grange Centre.
