	Painter & printmaker Born 23 April 1775 Covent Garden, London Died 19 Dec. 1851 aged 76 - Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, London In 1809 Turner was commissioned to paint views of the house and park, but it was not until 20 years later that he was received as a member of the family and given his own painting room with a specially made window.
