With reference to entry 2:8 Melville's 1858 directory of Sussex these entries..... Richard Gadd, at Old Mill, Lurgashall ( this is Richard Symonds Gadd and is the same village where Bob Campbells great grandmother and 2 sisters were born in the 1860's)   entry 9:2 above: copy of 1898 map showing Rowhook Farm, Lurgashall. shown left as Old Mill Farm   left: map 2008   aerial photo 2008   The mill is now situated at the Weald & Downland museum     back to Gadd Index - - back to entry 2:8
